A replacement dwelling on a site adjacent to the Aberaeron conservation area.

The design draws on the built form and position of the existing dwelling on the site to create a symmetrical breakfront elevation with visual references to the pediment type designs, proportions and fenestration associated with Georgian architecture.

The wider context of the buildings surrounding the harbour has been considered in establishing a continuance of design features (timber vertical sliding sash windows, stucco quoins and plinth details, deep overhanging eaves) and materials (Natural slate, timber joinery, painted stucco and cast metal rainwater goods).
